I am a software engineer at Waymo, working on planner for self-driving cars.
I obtained my PhD in the Machine Learning Department at the Carnegie Mellon University, where I was advised by Eric Xing and Pradeep Ravikumar.
I am broadly interested in problems in probabilistic graphical models, including approximate inference and connections with neural networks.
My thesis is on solving structure learning of Bayesian networks (also known as causal discovery) using optimization.
